The beginning of the end...

The daunting task of starting a blog can be likened to yelling into a canyon with nothing as far as the eye can see.  If you blog but have no followers you are essentially yelling into space.  No one can hear you scream.  And scream I shall.

So here I go.  Currently I live at less than 35 feet Elevation, 3 miles from the beautiful beach in a happy little town in California.  On the horizon of our life is a GIANT move across a few states to the thin air at 5553 Feet Elevation. Moving from California to Colorado will be an adventure for sure.  From learning how to breathe to learning how to cook and bake; right down to figuring out how to drive in the snow- there will be a lot of new experiences.

I LOVE to bake, and create in the kitchen. Re-learning how to do this at a MUCH higher elevation is going to be a series of what may be terrible experiments that my poor loving husband- we'll call him Mr. Wonderful will have to taste test in the coming months.  (Don't worry, I'll post pictures)
