The longer you stay the harder it is to go

Yesterday was my last day at my job before the move, I’ve only been there about 9 months, and it’s the first job I’ve ever had that felt like home. It was somewhere that I was a perfect fit for, and they were a perfect fit for me too.  We all clicked right away, it was like magic I instantly had 5 new great friends, and lucky me; I got to see them EVERYDAY! To: Mx2 & and the girls at the office.. My life will forever be changed, you are all such amazing women, each so different and each so wonderful in your own way; I’m so honored to call you my friends.

I almost envy the army brats, always on the move having to quickly make new friends whether they go; and move on just as quickly.   I've lived in my hometown (population over 100k) since the day I was born; honestly I hadn’t figured I’d ever leave. The preparation to leave is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.  From the newish friends to the lifers who stood by my side from when we were small right up through the day I said I do, a year ago this week in fact and right on through to the next big milestone in my life; our momentous move to Colorado.  You girls have been and continue to be my Rock, I know we'll always be friends but having to say see you later to so many of you is breaking my heart.

T-minus 1 week before we move.
